You have a strained relationship or worry about having a strained relationship with your parents because of family expectations, cultural traditions and/or prejudice.
You and your partner struggle to resolve disagreements, avoid talking about topics that cause conflict, or have misunderstandings that lead to arguments.
You have been in a situation where you felt uncomfortable at your partner’s family or cultural event.
You are planning to get engaged, have a wedding, or have children and you feel stuck and confused as to how to navigate blending your backgrounds, family expectations, and cultural traditions.
You feel disconnected from your family, cultural upbringing, and community and are unsure about bringing that part of your life into your relationship and family.
Mix, Match, and Blend is a 10 week online program to strengthen your relationship as a couple and prevent and repair strained family relationships. The program guides you through the process of building the skills, learning the process and taking the action steps necessary to experience immediate improvements in the interactions and connections between you, your partner and your family.
At the end of the program, your relationship with your partner and your family will be transformed.
The program is designed to teach you the 9 domains that will transform your relationship. The program guides you through the process of building the skills, learning the process and taking the action steps necessary to experience immediate improvements in the interactions and connections between you, your partner and your family.
Who is Mix, Match, and Blend (MMB) for? The program works for individuals (so don't worry if your partner doesn't want to participate) or couples that are ready to navigate their relationship and family to happiness and harmony. It is for those that are looking for the “how to figure it all out” from someone who “gets it” and has “been there, done that”. If you are dating, engaged, recently married, or in a long term relationship and trying to figure out how to plan your life together or if you are raising children (or planning on it) and you are ready to be done struggling with how to navigate issues around identity, culture, race, and faith then this is for you and an experience you won’t find anywhere else. If you are ready to experience less stress, worry, overwhelm, and just want to know what steps to take to move forward, build harmony, and have more happiness in your relationship and family then Mix, Match, and Blend is for you. What times are the workshops and coaching sessions? The course begins on Monday Sept 10, 2018. Discussion sessions will be every other Tuesday for 10 weeks at 8:30pm EST and 5:30pm PST. Every discussion session is recorded and made available within 24 hours so you don't have to worry about missing anything. What if I'm unable to attend the live discussion sessions? All workshops and coaching session will be recorded so you can watch it at your convenience. You can send your questions in ahead of time to get answered. How is participating in Mix, Match, and Blend different than therapy? As a therapist I can tell you that the Mix, Match, and Blend program follows a similar process that you would experience if you were in counseling but you do it at your own pace and includes extra components like coaching and a community of other couples. In MMB, I will teach you skills, strategies, and techniques, give you advice, share my own experiences, show you strategies, and connect you with a community to get you to have harmony and happiness in your relationship and family. In therapy, your goals are set in your treatment plan, boundaries are rigid (therapists won't share their stories with you), and the focus is mostly on internal work. Don't get me wrong, all of that is great for issues related to trauma, mental health, and addiction but it won't give you the opportunity you will have with MMB. MMB is a big investment. How do I know if it will work for me? MMB is a comprehensive program that covers it all. I can promise you that if you follow the program, do the work, and ask your questions along the way you will see an improvement in your life, relationship, and family. If you still aren't sure, I will be happy to connect with you to help you determine if it will meet your needs, you can email me at Rorri@upowerchange.com. But I also want to make this an easy decision for you, if halfway through the program you are unhappy with your progress, I will refund you 50% of the cost of the program. What's the next step after I purchase MMB? Yay! You are registered and ready to go. You will receive a welcome email within 24 hours with all of the dates and details about the program and how to access your bonus. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me at Rorri@upowerchange.com

“Rorri has been instrumental in strengthening my interfaith relationship. She made herself available at times that worked for my busy schedule. Our conversations lead me to be able to identify the aspects of my family and faith that are important to me and why. It was with that new understanding of self, that Rorri guided me to be able to have conversations with my partner so that we were able to honor both of our treasured aspects of our individual selves. My partner and I would not have been able to get to the place we are now without the assistance of Rorri. Her ability to guide you through self-discovery and lead you to creative solutions are unparalleled.”

My experience growing up in a multiracial family, being in an interfaith marriage (Jewish-Muslim), and raising multicultural, multiracial, and multi-faith children is why I am dedicated to helping and supporting couples and families with unique relationship and family situations. I know first hand the joys and challenges unique relationships and families face.
